I really enjoyed the Hero Arts Valentine stamp along last weekend. These are the cards I created. Thanks for a great weekend! I loved the watercolor technique and plan to use that one a lot more. On that one, we used inks as watercolor and added enough water to blow the water with a straw or theTim Holtz tool for blending alcohol inks. After it dried we added alcohol ink coloring to make the flowers pop a little more and then die cut and popped it up on the card.
Foil it’s! A new obsession
I’ve done some foiling with my laminator before and been pretty successful. Especially after I learned to turn it on a good 20-30 min before I needed it so it could warm up and began using the thermoweb carrier sheets. Pink & main did a foiling class during Crop & Create and I ended up breaking my laminator, so with the discount code, it was a great time to invest in a mini minc! I also loved the Taylored expressions Cake Walk layered stencils and dies from the event and when they showed foil its to match I was sold! I ordered a lot of them. So when I received my new minc and the foil its from Taylored Expressions, off I went to foil! Wow, it works so much better than a laminator. Then I went a bit crazy making all these cards! Each stencil has the components for 3 cards, so I must have foiled 6 panels and stenciled. These are absolutely gorgeous in person. I mixed up the backgrounds a bit. Some are embossing folders with gold or silver pigment ink on top, some are embossi...
