Fun with stencil techniques
Today I finally watched the SCT Let’s stamp together class with spellbinders from May. I had fun playing with the stencils, stamps and dies from this set. The first one I used a Honeybee embossing folder for the background. I like to spray the paper a bit before using 3D embossing folders and a lot of times I use perfect pearls water or tsuniko sparkle spray, this time I used the sparkle spray. On the second card with the die cuts I used twisted citron distress oxide and salvaged patina, and then Simon Hurley solar paste in the yellow. I thought it would be more transparent than it turned out so the salvaged patina didn’t show up too well. The rest of this card was following the die cuts and layout from spellbinders. The yellow card was by far the quickest, using stencils. The final card used modeling paste and glitter with the stencil.
