Concord & 9th Summer camp extra cards

Image
This camp was absolutely amazing! I had a great time creating and learning and it was so relaxed and not rushed like other events I’ve participated in virtually. These are a few of the cards I made with the leftovers.I really didn’t think this citrus suite was for me, but I turned out really loving it!

Beautiful 3D embossing folders with wax highlights

The card workshop I taught back in April actually taught me! Several people used more wax to highlight the entire flowers and the cards turned out beautifully! I was using up some of my scraps from the workshop and tried several other embossing folders from Altenew and Simon Says Stamp. I sprayed the lightweight cardstock with perfect pearls or shimmer spray, then embossed with my die cut machine. I thin used my finger to gently add the metallic wax to highlight the design. I used specialty cardstock to mat the embossed panel and added a sentiment. I just love how this technique sets off the texture and design of these embossing folders. Spellbinders and Altenew Event cards

Image
I participated in the virtual Spellbinders and Altenew event in February. I absolutely loved all the tips and techniques shared during the event. I don’t think I’ve ever made so many cards from the products of an event at one time as I did with this one. Some of the favorite techniques I learned were using the embossing folder and background dies in white as backgrounds behind the other elements. It really adds a lot of interest to the card.  Spellbinders die:  https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/four-petal-bloom-reflection-etched-dies-from-the-four-petal-collection?_pos=9&_sid=58126202f&_ss=r Spellbinders embossing folder:  https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/four-petal-floral-3d-embossing-folder-from-the-four-petal-collection?_pos=11&_sid=58126202f&_ss=r Spellbinders sentiment dies:  https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/thanks-enclosed-sentiments-etched-dies-from-the-four-petal-collection?_pos=17&_sid=58126202f&_ss=...

More Birthday, congrats, and thank you cards

I created these cards using Pinkfresh studio products. I love their perfect sentiments collection that has the stamp all in one piece, as well as the die and hot foil plate. This makes it quick and easy to create lots of sentiments at once. The other product of theirs that is so awesome to make quick cards are their washi tape suites. Here I used just the washi, applied to vellum, and cut with the die. Quick and easy…but if you love the design, they usually have coordinating stamps and stencils so you can create in any color you choose. I used essential dies for the background and other dies on the cards. Supplies are linked below. Thank you cards

I needed to make my mom some thank you cards and had these supplies with me at a retreat. I think they turned out great! I stamped and colored the flowers with copies. I’ve learned I like smaller images like this as it’s not as intimidating to color and shade, at least at my current skill level. I learned this thanks to the classes through Crop & Create Delivered!  These are the Spellbinders supplies I used to make these cards: Stamp set Dies
